Since I was a child, I always loved the outdoors. I learned to fish, hunt, and camp, all because of my parents’ influences. …We had a large family, but somehow Mom and Dad always found a way to take us all to the outdoors.
Then, when I was 18, my father, Ed Ladendorf, gave me my first real camera as a Christmas present. I immediately embraced the craft and integrated it into my outdoor activities.
I traveled as much as possible and recorded my travels on film. It wasn’t long before I realized that if I could choose my dream job, it would be to photograph the natural beauty of the world we live in.
Life’s stresses and challenges got in the way of my passion and I put that on hold. Those days have past, and I’ve never been more passionate about making beautiful images to share and enjoy for myself.
