Bond Falls is a series of beautiful waterfalls on the middle branch of the Ontonagon River in Michigan’s upper peninsula. This is one of the upper falls. It was extremely cold this day, and snowing intermittently. These falls are beautiful any time of the year, but are very unique in the winter. Though it would appear to be a black and white image, it is actually a color image. If you look closely at the water, it has a yellow hue to it, that is a result of the tannins in the river.
